Screwfix opens at Exmouth’s Liverton Business Park

The business park on Salterton Road was established in the 1990s to improve retail and employment opportunities in the town and to boost the wider regional economy. It is now home to a mix of national and locally owned businesses including The Range, Home Bargains, McDonalds and Halfords.

Screwfix has taken a purpose-built 5000 ft² unit, joining Howdens, Bradfords and Toolstation in the newest area of the park - known as Liverton 2 - which opened four years ago.

Screwfix’s new Exmouth Store Manager, James Marshall, said: “Our new team includes people with all different levels of experience, focused on providing superb customer service to meet the needs of our busy trade customers.”

Other neighbours at Liverton 2 include P&C Advisory Services and several local independent firms; Witherby Carpentry & Joinery and Amor Blinds and Curtains, all of which are located within Liverton Business Park’s Harpford Units.

There is one remaining unit of 2556 ft² available within the Harpford Units. According to Clinton Devon Estates’ Adrian Pitts it will be suitable for a wide range of businesses, particularly those within the light industrial, trade counter and warehouse sectors.

“Liverton Business Park is in an excellent location, serving a wide catchment that includes Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. It offers easy access from the Salterton Road and car parking for shoppers and trades people alike.

“It is a well-established and very well maintained business park and the quality of the neighbouring businesses demonstrate that it’s an ideal location for businesses, trades and suppliers of all sizes.

“The opening of Screwfix not only offers Exmouth’s tradespeople and other customers with the convenience of a full range of products right on their doorstep, it also provides a real boost to the town’s economy,” added Adrian Pitts.

Screwfix Exmouth will be open Monday to Friday 7am-8pm, Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 9am-4pm.
